In tackling climate change, we need diverse voices and viewpoints. The entrepreneurs taking on the largest challenge the world faces should be a reflection of how the world looks. The investors backing them need to be the same.

Our mission is to empower underrepresented founders and investors in climate by building a vibrant community and strong support system.

Climate Mosaic runs close-knit relevant support networks and helps build meaningful relationships that enable peer-to-peer learning. Initiatives are evidence-based to make a difference. Having worked in the intersection of sustainability and venture capital for a while now, we’ve come to the frustrating conclusion (that the world is slowly arriving at too), that there just isn’t enough diversity in the founding teams that receive funding or the investors backing them. Our dream is to see both sides of the table at a term sheet negotiation look like the world does –a mosaic of colours, shapes, sizes, ages, hopes, criticisms, perspectives. We know the journey is a long one, and it would be very easy to give up midway, but we truly think we can reach this destination (while we and the planet are both still healthy!), and we sincerely hope you’ll help us get there!
